The Medical Association of Georgia (MAG) has announced Sawyer Direct LLC as the new publishing company for the Association’s Journal. Under the direction of the Journal’s editorial board, led by editor Dr. Stan Sherman, MAG has delivered the Journal to members for one hundred and eleven years.
“We are excited to have John Sawyer and his team come on board to publish the Association’s Journal,” says MAG executive director and CEO, Jeremy Bonfini. “As a cornerstone of communication with our members, the Journal provides MAG an important medium for informing physicians across the state about the actions MAG is taking to advocate on their and their patients’ behalf.”
“Sawyer Direct has been helping associations publish their magazines for 18 years” notes John Sawyer, president of Sawyer Direct. “We are honored to have this opportunity and look forward to working with Dr. Sherman, the Journal’s editor, the editorial board and MAG leadership to produce a high-quality publication that will engage its physician readership with articles that help them stay informed about the issues that matter most to them and their patients.”
MAG and Sawyer Direct plan to launch the Journal’s first issue of 2022 in early summer. Companies interested in advertising to the Journal’s physician readership should contact John Sawyer at email@example.com for more information.
