Northside Hospital Cardiovascular Institute (NCVI) welcomes doctors Vasanth Sathiyakumar and John Ricketts to its physician network.
Dr. Vasanth Sathiyakumar is board certified in internal medicine and cardiac computed tomography. He received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and holds a specific clinical interest in general cardiology and non-invasive cardiology.
Dr. Sathiyakumar attended Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD to complete his internship, residency, and cardiology fellowship. During his residency, he received the top resident clinical award from the hospital faculty.
Dr. Sathiyakumar sees patients at Northside Hospital Cardiovascular Institute‘s locations in Canton and Holly Springs.
Dr. John Ricketts received his medical degree from the University of South Alabama School of Medicine where he received the Randall Undergraduate Research Award. Dr. Ricketts then went on to complete his internship and residency in internal medicine at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals. He also served as the chief medical resident at the Atlanta Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Dr. Ricketts is board-certified in internal medicine, echocardiography and cardiac computed tomography. His specific clinical interests are in general cardiology, preventive cardiology, cardiovascular imaging, HIV and cardiovascular disease.
Dr. Ricketts sees patients at NCVI’s Sandy Springs, Barfield and Midtown Atlanta locations.
