The Arthritis Foundation recently recognized North Fulton resident Dr. Jon Minter as this year’s Medical Honoree at the 2019 Crystal Ball.
Dr. Minter is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee arthritis with Arthritis & Total Joint Specialists who practices at the Northside-Forsyth Campus.
Dr. Minter brings nearly two decades of experience practicing in Georgia, and has held numerous leadership roles, most recently serving as the director of an orthopaedic residency program in Tennessee. Dr. Minter offers robotic procedures for highly complex arthritic disease of the hip and knee, as well as specialized services for the management of failed joint replacement surgery. He has lectured both nationally and internationally on hip and knee arthroplasty and is published extensively in peer-reviewed journals. A thought leader in orthopaedic surgery, Dr. Minter has designed knee and hip implants for both simple and complex surgical procedures associated with arthritic disease.
Dr. Minter and his wife Konni have been dedicated volunteers and supporters of the Arthritis Foundation for many years, with Dr. Minter currently serving on the Georgia Leadership Board.
In its 38th year, The Crystal Ball is the most successful fundraising event of the Arthritis Foundation. The Ball has raised more than $10 million dollars for critical research and programs for people living with Arthritis, including nearly 300,000 children nationally who are struggling every day.
