Psychiatrist Thomas G. Cobb, MD, has joined the staff at Laurelwood, Northeast Georgia Medical Center’s mental health and substance abuse treatment center.Dr. Cobb earned his medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. He completed his residency in general psychiatry and served as Chief Resident at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich. He also completed a fellowship in Psychiatry and Law at Case Western Reserve School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, which focused on mental health advocacy.
Dr. Cobb is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in General Psychiatry with added qualifications in Psychiatry and Law.Before joining Laurelwood, he served as Director of Forensic Psychiatry at the Medical University of South Carolina.
